Sonic Software’s Roxio division approached OIC to refresh its packaging system and develop a new design for the launch of Creator 2009. The best-selling digital media suite, Creator 2009 provided an excellent array of valuable digital media tools and enjoyed brand recognition among enthusiasts in the know. With the recent growth of digital media platforms in the consumer marketplace, however, many potential new customers weren’t aware of how Creator could help them fully utilize the features and functions of their new purchases. OIC’s job was to help Roxio build on its success with the enthusiast market segment, and help it build its position among a broader base of consumers.
